Our Story

Storey Fireplace & Chimney previously known as Storey Stone Co. Is a full-service fireplace company located in the Vandercook Lake area in Jackson Michigan. Founded by Cary Storey in 1954 who passed it on to his son Nihl Storey who owned and operated it for many years. Nihl was the first chimney sweep in the Jackson Michigan area and gained a reputation for quality work and customer service. All of his expertise was passed on to his grandson Jared Storey who is now the proud owner since 2020. Storeys offers many fireplace and chimney services from chimney sweeps and inspections to full Installation of wood, coal, gas, and pellet-burning units. We are licensed and fully insured and take pride in what we do.
